There are a few suggestions that I can pass along:
- https://www.fastweb.com/career-planning/featured-internships - you can also do searches on this site for internships
- https://www.careeronestop.org/FindTraining/Types/internships.aspx
- talk to you academic adviser
- talk to the director of alumni relations to make arrangements to talk to graduates of your school to inquire about internships and suggestions they may have
- locate professional associations related to your area of interest to attend meetings as many of these associations know or or might even have such internships. Here is a good way to find such associations:
https://www.careeronestop.org/businesscenter/ProfessionalAssociations/find-professional-associations.aspx?frd=true. Your academic adviser might also know of some. There might even be chapters on campus.

You could also create your own internship. A student in our high school wants to be a doctor, so she approached the local EMS unit and worked with them and her school to create her own. She had a great experience!

If you let me know more about where you reside and what school you are attending, I may be able to help you more.

Here is a good way to get to know more about opportunities in your Human services:

Let me know if and how this helps.
