The best way to get more information is to talk to the head of alumni relations at your community college and at the university to which you might be transferring. Inquire about coop and internship opportunities. Arrange to talk to graduates of the program of interest to see what advice and opportunities that they might have. Also talk to your academic advisor and the reference librarian at your local library to locate and contact professional associations that represent your area of interest. Many times these associations might know of or even sponsor such coops and internships. Let me know how this works out and how I might be able to help further.

One of the best ways is to contact companies and ask them if you could volunteer to get experience. Contact temporary agencies that will place you in an organization looking for temporary help in the Human Resources Department.
