Well you should first narrow it down to field of study, i.e...if you want to counsel, case management , school worker etc.... Then possibly volunteer somewhere before entering courses to see what fit best. As far as high school, some have Sociolgy courses but if not focus on upper grade/language (English 101 equiv. biology, chemistry & core mathematics to have a jump start when choosing courses. If these classes are mastered by junior year , they won't be required for college as gen Ed requirements and will put you in your major courses sooner. Thus getting you closer to graduating sooner.
