My passion is family, helping others, and being a support system. That's basically who I am. I feel that sitting in a classroom is not an effective way for me to learn and get to where I want to go. I think I need something hands on or something like an apprenticeship. I'm interested in some type of counseling career. One of my main goals is to get a career, get some income, move out of Michigan to the south.
How do I start?

My Biggest Regret: Going to College
A great place to start could be volunteering for an organization that works within your interest. Not only will this give you experience with your career interest, it may also make your classroom experience better. In some cases, classroom settings may be too high level but paired with actual experience, it could be useful. Volunteering is a great way to get your foot in the door of you future career and looks great on resumes.
Hope this helps!
