You might need to consider a certification in Project Management. With a great EPIC knowledge you can lead EPIC implementation projects as an IT Project Manager, let me know if you want to learn more about the IT Project Management field
I'm not very aware of Epic training except for what I just read online about it. But, you already know the trials of getting certified. If you have that much experience in healthcare administration it would seem to me that just being competent in word processing, developing and working in spreadsheets, presentation software like Powerpoint, and understanding how to work with data would make you very capable. However, if you're inclined toward a career change, then the competitive environment in IT would require you to get certifications like development or administration. Both of these directions will always be strong. Personally, I feel that with the emphasis and concern about healthcare today, anyone who is already embedded in healthcare is better able to view the landscape and choose a direction that can keep you vital and employed! You can better tell me though, I just know what's in the news.
Certification in development requires learning programming language and coding (software). Administration certification is about building a maintaining systems (hardware). Hope this is a little insight.
