If I say car sales, would you be turned off by it? I think majority of the folks would; however, my recent trips to car dealerships have totally changed my old perceptions of car salespeople. These days, with so many technologies in the vehicle (i.e. bluetooth, navigation, voice commands, etc), salespeople have to go through rigorious product trainings so they can demo the features to the potential buyers. They're also responsible for after-sales services in case owners have questions on how to use them.
If you wish not to work in the front-line, there are a variety of behind-the-scene jobs; for example, dashboard design. Designing a dashboard and that is both user intuitive and ergonomic is one of the biggest challenges carmakers face.
Pick something you like and best of luck.
