What is the best way to get experience in IT?
I got a bachelor's degree in business administration and have a job, but would really like to work for an IT company.
I don't know much about IT yet, but have the ability to learn fast. I have started taking programming classes at home, such as Python and Android app programming. Also I'm planning to attend a community college to take the required classes to study a master's degree in computer sciences, which I consider will give me a lot of knowledge.

Never underestimate of what you can learn on your own. be inquisitive, always be learning.
Technology changes everyday, you have to be on top of things to stay sharp.
A college education in computer science will serve you well, but don't rely on it to teach you everything you want to know.
Pick a skill set you want to learn and dive into it, go to the library and/or bookstore and read everything you can, find groups of people with the same interest this helps.
finding a job in IT can be challenging, but if you are good at what you do it won't be as hard.

Make a friend who already has an IT job and get him to recommend you for an internship. If you get the offer, take it no matter what it is, and do an outstanding job. Worked for me.

I would recommend taking an A+ certification
