You, and only you can know what is best for your life. I believe that we all have a specific purpose, something that we have to do. Think back to when you were younger, what really excited you? What is the one thing that is a passion? Something that if you do not do it, you would feel empty and unfilled. You might have to do some soul searching, or just get in touch with your inner self. Remember, nothing is set in stone, you can always change your mind later, and then change it back.
What made the internship so bad? Was it the environment? The people? The actual work and proceeders? If the people, or environment were different, would you have had a better experience? Maybe you were not aware of the proceeders, and work involved. In that case, it is a good thing that you found that out early.
Ask yourself, why you always wanted to be an attorney? What drew you to that particular profession? Was it a particular person you knew? Was it from a movie, or TV show? Is there something that excited you about the idea of being an attorney?
All questions that only you can answer, good luck!
