Subjects like civics, history, and government are all important elements in learning about the criminal justice system. Find out what your high school elective options are in these areas, but also be sure to focus on all your classes. When you go on to college, you will need to take general education courses (English, Math, Science, etc.) as well in order to earn your degree. You may also be required to take Psychology and Sociology classes, which are helpful in better understanding yourself and other people. Of course, you will also be taking career-specific classes like patrol operations and criminalistics. I hope that answers your question.
