Many jobs that fall under the law enforcement category. There are state, local, and federal opportunities and careers in and out of uniform. For example, the administration of law enforcement agencies is handled by non-uniformed "civilian" positions. Of course, there are many opportunities to be a uniformed officer as well. If you are interested in a career in law enforcement, start thinking about who and where you want to serve. You could serve your community as a local police officer, your country as a Military Police Officer, or serve in one of the many government agencies (ATF, FBI, CIA, U.S. Customs, etc.) at different levels. If you do not necessarily want to be an agent or police officer, you might consider a career as a corrections officer or parole officer. There are truly many opportunities for you to consider if law enforcement is the field you want to work in.
