The best thing you can do is look for internships with corporations or advertising agencies. A lot of internships end up hiring their interns, but even if they don't you will have real world experience to put on your resume and that will increase your chances of being chosen for a job. If an internship isn't an option you can try for entry level positions with corporations or agencies. Be sure to include ANY experience you have that is related to marketing. Have you conducted a fundraising campaign? Are you good at navigating social media? Maybe you have had success creating social media ads or boosting content. Really think about anything you have done that can be leveraged as experience on your resume.
