I am wanting to take more classes in graphic design, and I'm not finding online courses helpful. Where can I take courses for graphic design that is helpful for starting my portfolio and my career in design
I have taken some classes in graphic design and have a background in fine arts.

I agree with Elizabeth. After I graduated college, I took one class per semester in graphic design programs, such as Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as web design, to make myself more marketable. Community colleges usually have multiple classes that should work with your schedule.

I would definitely try a community college - a class you have to be physically present for. That gives you some actual verbal interaction with your professor, which can add to your learning experience. They might be of better quality and help you understand whatever concepts you're learning.
