Sounds like freelancing is best for you but you might want some industry experience before you try that so keep that in mind. Most entry-level positions aren't flexible schedule wise. Once you get higher up you can work from home and create your own schedule. If you're looking to work for a company that gives you flexibility, you might want to look into working for vendors that contract out to big companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. As a contractor you'll be able to "flex" your hours and choose when you come in and leave but you'll still have to work 40 hours work weeks.
