Hello I am 31 years old and work as a Mental Health Specialist using my Occupational Therapy Assistant license in CA and work in a locked down Mental Health Unit with patients that have Schizophrenia or Mood Disorders such as Bipolar or Depression. I absolutely love what I do. Every single day is different and you get to help a population that is growing and in need of assistance. I work with Psychologists and Psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers. I work in a team and it's such a cool thing to work together for the well being of our patients. It's amazing when you see progress. I would love to answer any questions you might have.

I have a BA in psychology and I do early childhood education; you could go into business management or human resources. You need psychology to manage people and handle clients anyway!
