I am 19 years old and in my second year of college. I am currently in the process of changing my major. I have been thinking of pursuing something in the medical field. What positions are in demand? Are there any certificate programs or associate degrees (as a start up) that would benefit me? Any information or advice would be helpful. Thanks

Your information is so similar to a question I've answered before? If so, do as I said. If no, I apologize. With low GPA and a dislike in math, forget some of your dreams. I don't know what state you live in, but here in Colorado if you are in the upper 3/4 of you graduating class your chances of being accepted are good. A hard look will be taken at your ACT; if you are below certain cut off points be prepared to be required to take remedial courses. Closely examine two books: "What color is tour Parachute" and "Occupational Outlook Handbook." With a low GPA, I have to wonder if college is for you. It does not prepare you for any job- that comes later. You may want to start in Community/Junior colleges to bring up you GPA. You will finf the OOH mentioned above extremely valuable.
