I am a junior in college and have recently tailored my resume to look for internship opportunities in physical therapy. What are some tips you can give me to prepare to ask potential future "employers" if they have internship opportunities available and to communicate effectively why they should choose me?

YOur best approach is to reach out to PTs in your area and offer your resume and a cover letter expressing your interest in becoming a PT and how you are looking for an internship. Be open to taking an unpaid internship to show your willingness to learn. You can also ask about doing a job shadow for a day or week to see if it's a good fit and make a case in person for an internship. Work with your college guidance office too who usually have a well rounded database of alumni you can reach out to for potential internships. Hope that helps!
