The best thing you can do is focus on getting really good grades and scoring as high as possible on the MCAT.

In addition look into volunteer/leadership activities to make your application stand out. Schools like to see medical volunteering, but it's more important you do something that you are passionate about. These experiences are really great for finding topics to write a personal statement that will catch the reader's eye.
