Medical school is very expensive, and some schools are more expensive than others. Almost all medical students pay for their tuition using loans. It can be a drag, but it's one of those careers where you are expected to be making a lot of money so there isn't much financial aid available. I know it's hard, but try not to let money keep you from achieving your dream, as long as you work hard and get in the school will help you find a way to pay for it.

As for medical school, it can be tough at times, in fact it is the hardest thing I've ever done. Everyone feels this way, it means you are doing it right (if it was easy everyone would be a doctor right?). You spend most of your time studying, but almost everyone finds time to do things they are interested in, like clubs, volunteering, and sports.

I'm currently in my third year, and the first two years are the hardest. They are when you learn all of your fundamentals, and as a result spend most of your day in the classroom or library. In third year you begin seeing patient's, and that's when the fun starts.

Med school is hard, but it's worth it.
