Your major would be Nursing, you will complete a 4 year bachelors degree and at least a year of clinical nursing and then complete a Masters Degree in an Anesthesiology program. You will take a state board exam after the 4 year Bachelors of Nursing for your RN license and you will complete a certification once you complete the Graduate Anesthesiology program. Please visit the following site for additional information about becoming a Nurse Anesthesiologist, there are also other online sites available for research on this topic.
