It all depends how you manage that stress. We all get stressed from time-to-time, particularly when it comes to balancing the different aspects of being a student and transitioning into adulthood (or for some students, already dealing with the stresses of being an adult too!). Stress can be "healthy" by motivating us to do better, to push ourselves to finish projects on time, and keep us on track with our goals. In the medical field, there is a LOT of stress to be found, so again, if you know how to deal and manage your stress and use it in a positive way to your advantage, then it can easily be a strength towards becoming a great surgeon!
