If you can see it you can do it. Double major. You are not the first person to have that idea. You need to find a study abroad program that would take you to Africa.

Yes! Certainly, if you want to become a vet, then work in other countries, that can certainly happen! Also, there are a lot of people who do that.

Vet school is very long and hard. Becoming a nurse is much less taxing. If you are passionate about animals, then I would consider just going the vet school route. I know many vets who have gone to African countries to do work, and they have loved it. I think what you need to decide is whether you want to work one one species, humans, or many different species. Why do you want to be a nurse in Africa? What makes you want to be a vet?
