I want to be a Psychiatrist. In college not having the basic skills or education has set me back and my GPA is Extremely low... But now that I understand why I did badly I want to work hard towards my goal and give my all. Do I still have a chance to be a Psychiatrist, and How do I get their from where i'm at i'm lost how do i go forward from the bottom? what do I do?

I completely agree, with Jimmy, you may just need to work a little harder and you may not be able to get into medical school straight out of college if you cant get your GPA above a 3, however, I have many friends that did not get into medical school their first time around but don't let that deter you, keep trying!

Yes you certainly still can. You can major in what you enjoy and take the requirement for medical school and continue to pursue medical school to be a psychiatrist. It is very possible. Don't think that it is the end of road. It's just a little bump on the road.
