Health care administration is actually a very broad topic, which could be why you're having trouble finding information about it.
A good place to start would be at your doctor's office, usually the administrators are more than happy to talk about their career, especially if it's a smaller office. They will be able to give you first hand information, and will usually have lots of other contacts you can talk to.

A good place to start your search would be The Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.
I found plenty of information on this site: http://www.bls.gov/ooh/Management/Medical-and-health-services-managers.htm
1. What Medical and Health Services Managers Do
2. Work Environment
3. How to Become a Medical or Health Services Manager
4. Pay
5. Job Outlook
6. Similar Occupations
7. O*NET
8. Contacts for More Information
I hope this helps. Good luck with everything!
