Your CNA would allow you to enter the nursing field and if you live near a hospital there should be some job opportunities there as well as nursing homes. You may want to look at LPN programs, either through a local community college or a technical school. If you find work at a local hospital, often times they have reimbursement programs to advance your education. If you complete the LPN program you could move to a 2 year Registered Nurse (RN Program). LPN's depending on your are could make $15/hr or more or you could start the RN program prior to the LPN. Have you thought about nursing?
