I'm 24 I will be 25 years in March I'm tired of struggling living pay check to pay check. I have no children. I have received my medical assistant certification, phlebotomy certification, and CNA. All that is great but it seems tin the area I live I cant find any work with my medical asst. cert. The two things I have researched is ultra sound tech and x ray tech and both of those in my area (Roanoke VA) do not seem available for what ever I'm going to take

Your CNA would allow you to enter the nursing field and if you live near a hospital there should be some job opportunities there as well as nursing homes. You may want to look at LPN programs, either through a local community college or a technical school. If you find work at a local hospital, often times they have reimbursement programs to advance your education. If you complete the LPN program you could move to a 2 year Registered Nurse (RN Program). LPN's depending on your are could make $15/hr or more or you could start the RN program prior to the LPN. Have you thought about nursing?
