You can major in anything, as long as your fulfill pre-med reqs in addition to making yourself competitive for med school via extracurricular activities, other science-based classes, letter of recs, etc. Enjoy college as well as it is a very unique experience, keep in mind that med school is competitive and they look for candidates that are strong socially and academically.

I would take a wide variety of courses my freshman year, that way you can experience all kinds of fields and choose which you are truly made for. Shadow physicians to see if the life of a Doctor is the life for you, make sure you ask about the negative aspects about this path. As a physician myself, I can tell you that there are plenty of negatives and positives associated with this field.
