Are you interested in working with liver cancer patients, or liver transplant patients? Also, narrow your career field: Do you want to work in oncology nursing? This field will require you to obtain a nursing degree and job specialty training in oncology (cancer) patient care. With a nursing degree you can also work in transplant nursing, or hospice care which deals with providing palliative care to terminally ills patients. Working with these types of patients will not only require you to have medical/clinical skills, but also require you to be able to provide emotional support, be caring, and empathetic to the needs of others.

I would also start by researching the type of care liver patients require, types of liver diseases, and types of treatments. Also research palliative care and what that consists of. Hope this brief information is helpful to you.
