No. I was interested in many different aspects of it. When I started working in the field I gravitated to becoming a RN. The job is difficult to outsource because it takes people to do it. The field was also very flexible. If I wanted to become an OR nurse there was a way to do that, or if I wanted to change to a different specialty it was relatively simple. One way to see if you like it is to go try it out. Find a place that will let you shadow someone for a week. It might be worth volunteering some time to find out before taking on a four year degree to find out it wasn't a good fit.
