When I was younger, I wanted to be in the medical field. However, I'm not so sure anymore because I never received any real guidance on going into that direction. It was a career that I chose at random when I was younger. I am currently a nursing major. How do I know what career is right for me? Should I base it off of my personality?

Do you have a passion to help others? In order to work as a nurse you must have that passion to care for the sick. Nursing is more than just a job...it's a lifestyle. You will be faced with a lot of issues that you will have to put yourself in that person's shoes. I suggest that you volunteer in a hospital or nursing home to get a feel for the nursing profession.
