Hi, I will be completing my doctorate degree in science this year. Although I enjoy science & research, I have realized that university-level research science is not for me. I am reaching my thirties, and would like to pursue a career that is both rewarding and enjoyable. Medicine was always something that I wanted to pursue, but was too intimidating to apply. As someone who loves interacting with people, which path would I be happiest as a driven female candidate switching gears reaching her thirties?

You are the only one who can decide which career will make you the happiest. If medicine is something you want to pursue then by all means go for it. Don't let intimidation or your age stand in your way. One of the best physicians I know started medical school when she was 45.
