In short yes. Team leaders, trainers and analysts all make use of those skills at the B.A and graduate degree levels.
During my years in the military I taught for some time at the PSYOP School which was part of the Special Warfare Center. We provided training to officers and non-coms related to information gathering, analysis and distribution.
While this was a specific use of a psych background I can tell you that the people skills training acquired as part of that degree also helped me in other roles as a unit leader. Your degree gives you a platform from which to build a career that will acquire additional specialized training along the way to support your strengths and interests.
