I like to thank you first for considering serving, but you should talk to you doctor about your condition which I have no clue what it is. Either way the military would not take a chance on medical conditions

I understand and respect your desire to follow in the foot steps of your family members. One of my sons had the same desire but was rejected a couple of times due to mild asthma . While I have no idea what your medical issue might be, I can only tell you what I told my son at that time -- discuss the situation with your doctor. In our case the doctor actually wrote a letter regarding his opinion of my son's lung condition and indicated that he felt that it should not prevent his service. The military did not agree but, perhaps in your case your doctor may be able to help you understand if your condition would permit you to serve without a problem. That may help you overcome any timid feelings about offering your service.
Best of luck
