George makes a good point about working for the CIA, but the civilian or military jobs in intelligence usually accept those degrees. History always repeats itself right? Because of this, working in an intelligence career field is probably right up your ally. Many people I know in intelligence have some sort of history degree and are very good at what they do. Just something to think about.
You have selected a very narrow field and the opportunities are perhaps best understood by the faculty at tour school
The only individuals that I knew with your degree worked at CIA and the Library of Congress. You don't mention a military background which would likely be a key ticket to punch in either area.
