Collaborative piano degree is very coveted these days; you will have a chance to perform with great instrumentalists, singers, and groups. I find that church pianists get paid pretty handsomely, as a side income. If you can improvise or compose, by all means, sell your music by recording. Teaching is usually the bulk of pianists' career path.
