I hope to be graduating Fall 2014 with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Sociology. I hear a lot that to make a good living, I need to go to graduate school, what are your thoughts on this? I would like a career helping children and have tried to look for an internship in this field but not much luck.

I actually did not go to graduate school and make a great living. It actually took me a while to figure out exactly what I wanted to do and I think that is a lot of what is going through our heads when exiting from college. Masters or not? What is it that I truly want to do? If I had it to do over again, it would have been to become more self-aware much faster. What drives you? What are you passionate about? You say children.....is it a teacher that you want to be or do you want to work for a nonprofit that deals with children? Is it money that drives you? If you had all of the money in the world, what would you want to do? If you don't know what is out there, then perhaps we explore this further.
