Depending on specific field of work in the non-profit sector, there should be jobs available. As someone working in the mental health/social services industry for about 20 years (in California, Bay Area), I know that there are often opportunities available for people seeking entry-level work. Your education may factor into qualifications that employers seek, but isn't always the case. Whether it's working in a group home, hospice, residential care homes, etc. there are opportunities for entry level candidates.
