If it is something you are passionate about and you could see yourself doing, why not? You can always work part time as a tech going to school. If you have the desire to learn and further improve the lives of others, what do you have to lose? Consider visiting a few pharmacy schools and shadowing a student to see what the day is like. If you work in a retail (community) pharmacy, I would also consider shadowing a pharmacist at a local hospital (and vice verse). Hope this helps!

That would certainly increase your salary and increase the amount of stuff you are permitted to do. I would recommend going back, but remember not to drop your tech position until you have the right degree,
