I am in the process of making a career change decision. I am currently in the customer service field, yet I am not sure if I should go for Human Resources or Pharmaceutical Sales. I do not have a science background, however, I have been working with the healthcare industry for quite some time and I am very interested. Also, human resource strategies are intriguing as well. Any advice?

Interesting that you like both HR and Pharma. I am also interested in both. You don't need to have a science background to get into pharma. The requirements are a BA and some sales background would be good. Pharma training you in product knowledge. It is very intense with home study and training away lasting one to two months. You must pass all exam with 90% or better or you will be fired on the spot. Its a lot of pressure, but if you study you can pass the exams. Second part is the certification of material you will discussing with doctors. If you do not get certified you will be fired. Nonetheless, most people pass. Just have to put in the work.
