Many real estate brokerage firms (Century 21, Remax, etc.) have property management arms. Additionally, almost everyone of their offices employs a non-agent, office type worker to handle the day-to-day tasks that exist. There are also firms that are dedicated to just property management and they too employ an office work to handle the day-to-day operations as well as coordinate the check-in and check-outs of renters, conduct the pre and post inspection with regards to security deposits, lease handling, and much more.

Both would present unique opportunities to allow you to advance within the field of real estate.
