Then you should consider the field of insurance....It offers everything you require and the pay is great
In many cases retail sales/merchandising works weekends, so you probably want to stay clear. Same with many business to consumer (B to C) sales, industries like personal insurance, financial planning, home improvement (windows, siding).
Business to Business (B to B) is primarily Monday through Friday selling to other businesses. However, in all honesty, to be successful, expect to put some time in on weekends networking, researching your clients, working on proposals, presentations and reporting.
You may be best at selling intangible versus tangible commodities. Intangibles directed to Business. Example selling a payroll type program for a company relieving them of the burden and expense of having to maintain a payroll department. This is just an example. This would occupy time Monday thru Friday. However, keep this thought in mind as a business person a sales rep you are constantly aware of opportunity 24 hours a day seven days a week. Sales and Business Development/Management has no time limit for those successful.
