Hi,

In order to become a web developer, you need to be proficient in programming languages, data structures and algorithms. I have listed some of the popular programming languages but the list goes on. Primarily Java, C#,C,C++ , python makes programming fundamentals stronger and once you start practising you will be able to master it soon.

I have listed some of the websites and tutorial guides which might point you in right direction. In addition to this, you should be proficient in data structures and algorithms in order to do programming. You don't have to master all of these programming languages but you can choose two to three to master it. My suggestion would be to focus on the following Java(servel/jsp),C,C++,python,asp.

Other lists are Perl, PHP, coldfusion, html5 would also be helpful.
