Take a look at your skill set(s). If you are not an athlete, you need to see what can mesh with your interests in sports and working with the public. For instance, a good speaker could be a broadcaster. A good writer could be a sports writer for a newspaper. If you have business skills, you could work on the business side of a sports team. Assess your skills and try to come up with some sports related job and see if you can interview individuals doing those jobs. That will help you get a better idea if you would truly like working in that field.
