Sports is an industry that supports a very diverse marketplace. At its foundation sport rely on the skills of many different professionals with various backgrounds and aptitudes to function. It would be a good idea to figure out a career that interest you and try and see if it links to sports.
There are multi-billion dollar niche professions tied directly to sports in several fields. Of course there are famous fields such as athletes, journalism/broadcasting, law/agents, medicine, and event management.
