That is great, I am glad that you are following your dream. This dream though is very hard to achieve so it will not come lightly. You will need to put in a lot of work to achieve this. You will need to put full effort out at practice and in games. There should be no one who outworks you, my motto is " you may have more talent then me, but you will not out work me." Also a lot matters on what you are doing when your coaches aren't around. Are you willing to run the extra wind sprint? Are you going to shoot 200 free throws until you can make them in your sleep? Can you put out the effort needed to push through the barriers of wanting to quit to achieve something amazing? Just remember if you like to succeed in this goal you have to want it as bad as you want to breathe. Also never forget school, first if for some reason you can't play sports for a living you will have the education to do whatever you like to do, maybe even be a coach. Also a great basketball players needs to have a high IQ, look at Lebron James, or Michael Jordan. They had amazing basketball IQ, so be an amazing student in class, and on the court and you will be amazing.
