I was initially a Health and Sports Science major but switched and graduated with a BA in history and eventually got a masters in sports management (that I have never really used) so I understand where you are coming from.

You can do whatever you want with a degree in sports science. You would be surprised at the current occupations of successful people in comparison to what degree they have.

Find what you are passionate about and pursue that area if sports science is not for you. Volunteer, intern or get a part-time job (until you get a full-time job) in what you enjoy. Setup informational interviews with people in that field and let them know you are looking for an opportunity.

If you really need a job look into fields close to sports science such as health education, recreation, physical or recreational therapy, health and fitness, etc. Look into teaching health/PE, sales (they love students with a sports background so you can use that angle) or even becoming a nurse. You may have to take more classes but it will probably be worth it.

Hope this helps.
