Supply chain logistics is the business of moving materials (packages, finished/raw materials, etc.) from source to destination. This could be software, hardware, and people. Hardware would include everything inside a distribution warehouse (conveyor, electrical control systems, forklifts, robotic storage and retrieval machines). Software would include the database management and routing intelligence. The people are the professionals that understand the systems and strategies to maximize efficiencies.
