College can be rather challenging experience; but it doesn't have to be daunting! Success in college comes from within; having the drive to excel. The good thing is, that you are seeking guidance, which means, you care! If you are serious about your success in school, you already have an upper hand!
If it is any consolation, I have always feared that I would flunk Statistics in college. However, I refused to let one course bring me down - even if it is Math! Well, I dedicated plenty of time studying, ENGAGING - yes you heard that right (I wanted to learn it!), and ultimately keep the engaging part going through motivation. I developed a team from my class, and we studied in and out; but we made it fun and motivating! End result: "A" in statistics!
So I ask you this: what is it about Psychology or Electrical Engineering that you find difficult? These are two rather different fields; are you weighing in your options? What are your determining factors? Tell me a bit about your story.
I see that you asked for help quite a while ago and was wondering if you feel that there were any improvements with your study struggles? If any help is needed, please feel free to ask me. I am open for in person meetings as well since I live in the same area.
What is it specifically that you are struggling with? Do you find that your study habits need improving? Or maybe your time management? Or is just the subjects in general that are difficult for you? I would love to help! Please feel free to contact me; I'd be more than happy to speak with you and give you some pointers/share my experience with you.
What about college right now is hard for you?
