To be successful in Business Calculus, you need to memorize all the rules and know how and when to apply these rules. Good note-taking skill is essential, as well. A good place to start is Cornell Note Taking System. It really helps you to organize your notes and to record tips and strategies. You tube, Khan Academy, etc helps; however you need to practice. Do your homework on time and use the tutoring services that are available in your college.

Best way to conquer a math class is go for extra help. Also websites such as khan academy help a lot. Also, practicing various types of problems over and over will help you as well. Good luck!

As someone who struggles with math and had to take a 600 level course on finance, I can understand your concern. A little information that can help you prepare is to locate subscriptions on YouTube that specialize in a certain level of math. These clips are your own personal tutoring sessions. Also, become an expert in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. Excel is the foundation to professional organizations and if you can handle the ins and outs of Excel, you can solve questions and equations more efficiently.
