That is completely normal! A great deal of students go in to college (and even a few years into college) without being sure of what career they would like to pursue. Do not place pressure upon yourself, but instead think of your strongest traits, what you feel passionate about, and what classes you have enjoyed most. Also, get involved. By completing job shadows and volunteering, you will get a more realistic idea of what you enjoy. Don't forget to use your resources as well! The advisors at your college are there to help! In addition, there are career aptitude tests and personality quizzes you can take online for free just to get you going and spark some ideas! Good luck!
Time. Time will help you decide. Look at the course lists and take a few courses that interest you. Keep in mind that most of the "cool" courses may have prerequisites, so many of the courses available to you will be "intro" courses.
You'll find that, after taking a few courses, you happen to prefer specific subjects over the other. This will help you decide. But remember, whatever you decide as your major or a career is NOT locked-in.
A large majority of people in the workforce now do NOT work in a career related to their college careers--and that's okay!
Whatever you do, just make sure you enjoy it. You'll earn better grades in courses that you enjoy.
