Of course it's a great idea! Especially if it's a great story that will keep your readers entertained. In fact I'm very impressed with someone from the 8th grade whose already becoming an accomplished writer at such a young age.

Keep this thought in mind when it comes to story telling. People read for a variety of reasons and one of them is to escape our realities (at least that's why I read fiction) an to experience an adventure not found anywhere else but within your imagination. Your story is one that is possibly a story that no one has experienced before. Think of all the great writers out there who published great books. Before they were published they were only ideas that ran through their imagination. What if the Hunger Games, Ender's Game, or the Harry Potter books remained just ideas in their writer's heads and never made their way to print? We would have missed out on a great adventure of reading.

If you have written some great stories already then by all means share them. If what you have is great, than there are plenty of readers out there who would love to experience the adventure you have created.

Do you have a favorite English teacher in school? If so ask to have a word with him or her and tell them you have written these three stories and could they give their opinion on them. They will be more than willing to help and to guide you on what improvements your stories need and even how to get them published.

Hope my advice helps and if you would like a mentor to help through this website, then by all means choose me. I would be more than happy to assist you. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care.
