Any field will be difficult to get into if that's the way you think. Change your mindset. Do you actually WANT to work in that field? If you have a desire then go for it. There are tons of jobs listed on LinkedIn and Craigslist. Think beyond print and go for web news writing a well, which have more jobs and is more lucrative overall.
